Sculptor in Metalworks, Val Bertoia, engineers Sounding Gongs & Sounding Sculpture since the 1970s alongside his Father, iconic Harry Bertoia

He restores Harry Bertoia works together with Melissa Strawser, so when Val asked her to Etch in Bronze, Gongs, collaborating ever since, etching in their own philosophy that is Apropo to and for Bertoia  

Val's works can be found in many private collections, institutions, galleries and auctions.

Intaglio Sculptress of Metalworks.  She was raised in a family setting of Folk Artists and is 4th Generation Artist, Sculptress, Mistress to Intaglio Printmaker & Mother who trained in London with Masters in Printmaking.  She has a deep connection to Nature and creates themes in her work from dreams, memory and synesthesia.  Melissa's works can be found in many private collections, galleries, Slade School Art Museum and  institutions.
